Do I need a licence to ride a jet ski in Cyprus?
No – you don’t need a special jet ski or boating licence to rent in Cyprus as a tourist. Under Cyprus law, visitors over 18 holding a valid full (non-Cypriot) car driving licence can operate a hired jet ski after signing a binding declaration with the rental operator. At Seawolf Water Sports in Limassol, our instructors provide a full safety briefing before you ride, so you’re fully prepared even if it’s your first time.

What's the minimum age for jet ski hire?
The minimum age to drive a jet ski in Cyprus is 18, and the driver must hold a valid full car driving licence. Passengers can be younger – children are welcome to ride along with an adult driver, provided they wear a properly fitted life jacket and meet our safety requirements. Family-friendly group bookings are available on request.
